  5. The registration fee is $40 (to be collected together with the application form. The registration fee is non-refundable regardless of whether the application is successful or not. If mailing, payment must be made by cheque. Please do not mail cash. Please make the cheque payable to “Kowloon City Baptist Kindergarten”).<\/li>\n<\/ol>

    Apply for a “Kindergarten Enrollment Registration Certificate”:<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
    1. Under the Kindergarten Education Scheme (hereinafter referred to as the “Scheme”), each child eligible for education in Hong Kong will be issued only one registration document, and all participating kindergartens may only enroll children holding a valid registration document.<\/li>
    2. Parents must apply for a “Kindergarten Admission Registration Certificate” (hereinafter referred to as the “Registration Certificate”) for their children from the Education Bureau between September and November 2026. Applications for the Registration Certificate will be accepted starting in September of this year. The Education Bureau will announce the application details at that time and upload them to the Education Bureau website (https:\/\/www.edb.gov.hk\/k1-admission_tc). If the applicant has provided all the required information and documents at the time of application, the Education Bureau can generally complete the review within six to eight weeks and issue the Registration Certificate by mail to eligible applicants receiving the scheme’s subsidies. If a child is eligible for education in Hong Kong but is not eligible for the scheme’s subsidies and is not issued a Registration Certificate, the Bureau will issue a “Kindergarten Admission Permit” (hereinafter referred to as the “Admission Permit”) to the child. The child can register and enroll in a participating kindergarten with the Admission Permit, but their parents must pay the full tuition fee before deducting the scheme’s subsidies, as stated on the kindergarten’s fee receipt.<\/li><\/ol>

      1. Brothers and sisters whose elder siblings are graduates or current students of this school will be given priority consideration.<\/li>
      2. Those who perform well in the interview will also be given priority in recruitment.<\/li>
      3. Applicants with family needs will be given priority consideration when applying for a full-day program (please note that due to limited places, not all applicants who qualify for priority consideration will be admitted).<\/li>
      4. Our kindergarten provides equal opportunities for all children (regardless of race, gender, or ability).<\/li><\/ol>

        4. Individual or small group meetings will be conducted with one parent present, using conversation and games as the medium.<\/li><\/ol>

          If you require interpretation\/translation services when meeting with a non-Chinese speaking child, please contact our kindergarten at 2713 1875. Our kindergarten also accepts non-Chinese speaking parents and children accompanied by Chinese-speaking relatives or friends to assist with communication.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

            1. The kindergarten will issue a written notice requesting parents to complete the registration process at the kindergarten on the designated date, and to submit the original “Registration Certificate”\/”Admission Permit” and pay the registration fee.<\/li>
            2. Parents, please note that if the “Registration Certificate”\/”Admission Permit” is not submitted by the specified registration date, the kindergarten may not be able to complete the procedures for the admitted child. Therefore, parents must apply for the relevant registration documents from the Education Bureau within the specified date.<\/li>
            3. If a child is admitted to our school, the registration fee will be refunded in October. However, if parents decide to transfer their child to another school after registration, please notify the kindergarten in writing. The kindergarten will return the “Registration Certificate”\/”Letter of Admission” as soon as possible, but the registration fee will not be refunded. After retrieving the “Registration Certificate”\/”Letter of Admission”, the kindergarten will no longer reserve a place for the child.<\/li><\/ol>
